How to Post a Job on Our Website

Introduction 

 

If you are a parent or operate a professional childcare facility, such as a nursery, creche or playschool, you can submit the details of your own job vacancies to this website.

 

Bright Beginnings Childcare Agency will then check the details of your vacancy, and 'post' it on our list of vacancies within the appropriate category. Potential candidates can search for, and apply to the job vacancy through a simple online form.


How to Submit a Job Offer

 

Follow these instructions to submit details of your job vacancy to our website:

 

1. Register and Log In to the Bright Beginnings website using the form and links toward the bottom-right of the screen.

 

2. To submit a job vacancy, click on the button marked "Submit a Job Offer" which can be found under the "Recruitment" section of the main menu:

'New' Button

3. Click the 'New Vacancy' button (shown left) to add the details of the new vacancy - an online form will be displayed which allows you to describe the job in more detail:

4. Complete the form with the following details:

 

Title

A brief description of the Job Vacancy; e.g. "Nanny to look after 2 Children Under 5 Years"
 

Reference

Enter a reference number of your choice. If you are unsure of what to enter, put your initials and today's date.
 

Category

Select the type of job/employment from this list box; there is a wide selection, from 'Mother's Help' to 'Nursery Manager'.
 

Number of job(s)

If you are wishing to advertise for more than one person then indicate this by entering a number in this box.
 

Contract type

You can select one of the following four options:

• Full Time - Permanent
• Part Time - Permanent
• Full Time - Temporary
• Part Time - Temporary

 

Studies level

Choose the level of professional qualification you want job candidates to possess by selecting from this listbox.
 

Experience

Select the amount of experience that the candidates should have, by selecting an option from this box.
 

Weekly Wage

Enter an amount for the weekly wage. Click Here to Open our Nanny Tax Calculator.

Location

Enter the city or town where the job is based

 

Job Start Date

Click the three dots (...) to the right of the Job Start Date field to open a pop-up calendar.

 

Use this calendar to check the date on which the successful candidate is expected to start working in the job you are advertising.

 

You can use the '<<', '<' and '>', '>>' links toward the top of the pop-up calendar to page through months and years.

 

When you click on a date, the pop-up will close and the details will be automatically entered in the Job Start Date field.

Hours Per Week

Enter the number of hours per week that the successful candidate is expected to work in the new job using this field - we suggest you simply enter a number, such as 40, rather than writing the word "Forty".

'Save' Button

5. Once you are happy with the information you have entered to describe the job vacancy,  click the "Save" button (Shown Left) to save the details of the vacancy - when you do this, you will be taken back to the main interface, where you will see a summary of the job vacancy you have just created shown in the table:

'Cancel' Button

If you do not want to save the details of the new job vacancy, you can click the 'Cancel' button instead - this will return you to the main interface, but the details of the job vacancy will not be saved.
